It’s Time For Our Schools to Catch Up

Last year, many schools did not have the funding needed to provide enough resources to their students learning from home. As a result, many kids fell behind. Since the new school year has started, our school districts are trying to find ways to catch up.

Our school districts finally have the opportunity to remedy the learning gap that grew during the pandemic using additional funding from Sacramento. However, in order for our students to truly recover from the pandemic, this cannot just be one-time funding. We need continuous and stable funding for years to come if we want to reduce the inequities experienced by many of California’s students.
