Young voters are key to Newsom surviving the recall

Newsom must rely on high democratic turnout to avoid being recalled, setting up an election where young voters are crucial. Mobilizing young democrats will likely be challenging, but several community organizations are working hard to engage with California youth.

Young people consistently vote in low percentages, despite elections having most consequences for their future. We need to empower young voters to be civically engaged and politically active.
